The bosses, of course, are a lot tougher than your regular enemies, and some of them can't be beaten by simply grinding them down with superior strength. Each of the optional quests has been individually designed, and most of them reveal exciting details in the charming world of Avencast. These are much more than just simple "go, kill and get" tasks. All monsters have different strategies, behave differently and will employ plenty of skills to make your life a lot harder. Some others include the Demon Maggot, a spawning monster that lays eggs from which three scarabs apiece are hatched, and the Demon Herder, which heals other monsters, shoots fireballs, freezes you and flees when harassed.
